KEWANEE, IL — October 31, 2025 — MTM Trailer Mfg, a leading U.S. producer of high-performance end-dump trailers and dump bodies, is proud to announce the official completion of its acquisition of Four Degree Trailer Company, a respected manufacturer of innovative hydraulic platform trailers headquartered in Kewanee, Illinois.

This acquisition, which officially closed today, marks a significant milestone in MTM’s ongoing growth and commitment to American manufacturing. By welcoming the Four Degree team and product line into the MTM family, the company expands its capabilities and product diversity while reinforcing its local presence in the Midwest.

Bringing Two Legacies Together

Four Degree Trailer Co. has been a fixture in Kewanee since 1961, with a legacy rooted in craftsmanship, innovation, and reliability. Best known for its Lift-a-Load and Lo Riser trailer models, the company has long set the standard for hydraulic platform and drop-deck trailer design.

With the acquisition now complete, production of Four Degree trailers will continue at the Kewanee facility, ensuring continuity for existing customers while integrating new efficiencies, engineering support, and manufacturing capacity under MTM’s leadership
